Staff made us feel very welcome and were offered to use lounge/garden. Clean and comfortable room.
The friendly service, excellent breakfast, design and decor of accommodation
Very friendly. Accomodation spacious, tasteful and very private. Lovely location.
Room was as near perfect as we could imagine. Bed very comfortable, bed linen good quality. Towels really good size. Room very clean. Lovely gardens.
Only criticism with room was that the water pressure in the shower was weak, and it was difficult to control the temperature. Breakfast was nicely cooked, but a little unexciting.
Enjoyed this lovely house delightful hosts
Convenient to Dorchester and the superior quality accommodation together with the relative ease of travel to areas I wished to visit The food, staff and welcome were all superb and the grounds impressive. Car parking was available and papers provided for guests to read in a comfortable lounge.
Pleasent country location near splendid coastal scenery. Very friendly and welcoming on arrival, with tea and biscuits delivered to your room. Owners and staff very willing to provide advice on local amenities, including excellent advice on where to eat. Breakfasts excellent with a wide choice, including vegetarian options, served by a friendly and obliging staff. Facilities for it excellent, including a pc, with internet connection in the reception area/lounge for the use of visitors
We received a nice welcome and a cup of tea and biscuits and the bedroom was very comfortable, although the bed was a little small. It was nice that we could activate the heating as it would have been a little chilly otherwise. The breakfast was extremely nice, well cooked to order and nicely presented. The restaurant overlooked a lovely peaceful garden which was very relaxing.
The bed was a standard double, it would have been better had it been queen size
Friendly staff. Pleasant atmosphere. A relaxing holiday.
Could have done with breakfast being seved later during the week. Lack of suitable clothes storage if staying more than one night.
Really homely atmosphere. The best breakfast ever and sherry in evening.
Attractive setting. Friendly staff.
Rather small beds for two people.
The room was very comfortable - lovely 4 poster bed.
We were aware that check in was from 4pm onwards but had at least expected the hotel to be unlocked when we arrived. To find it locked and then unable to get a reply from the phone number left for early arrivals was not impressive at £139.00 per night. More guest house than hotel despite charging good hotel prices.
Received a nice welcome. The breakfast was more than adequate.
There was not enough storage for clothes either draw space or wardrobe space. The wardrobe was taken up with clutter such as ironing board and iron, together with a spare blanket. All this reduced an already small wardobe space.
Atmosphere, ambiance and Staff. A very relaxing experience, lovely gardens. We would definitely stay again
Room slightly dusty
